Empress: Barb Fordham in Concert
In the 1920’s Bessie Smith was known as the ‘Empress of the Blues’. ‘Empress’ is a cabaret concert experience featuring the music of the late great African American Empress of the Blues, Bessie Smith.  The concert is a celebration of her life and music. Barb weaves through her own stories of life as a young woman growing up in the suburbs of Brisbane who loved to sing the blues. “It’s the kind of music that takes no prisoners. Theatrical and cheeky, packing a punch with its’ protest of love lost, love made and love shot to hell!

Topology hosts a party inspired by their show entitled Share House. A fun night of groovy tunes with the dysfunctional characters of Share House, jam with Robert, plank with Bernard, or gossip over cocktails with the Gals.
