You’re invited to a weekend of mid-century modern inspired architecture and design.
The Modernist Architecture + Design (M.A.D) Weekend is a unique Brisbane event, this
Year’s program will include all the popular happenings plus some new activities.
Friday evening will include Twenty-20 Vision. A diversity of presenters, such as architects,
designers and collectors with stories of their individual interests and passions.
Now for something completely different, the exciting new Saturday evening program,
Cool Caravans & Cocktails. Step back in time, and experience vintage caravans with a twist.
Featuring book readings, a View-master lounge, also special guest speakers and films.
Dress in your funky vintage outfits and have fun.
Sunday morning will be the much anticipated Interior House Tours, this will now include
homes from 1890 to 2010, five homes across more than a century of home designs.
(Please Note: This is a half day self-driving tour, the route is approx 50km long)
Be inspired by modernist architecture and design, show your support for a unique local
event, come for an evening or two, bookings are essential for all sessions.
DATES AND TIMES
SESSION 1 : 7.00pm Friday 28 June, Twenty-20 Vision.
SESSION 2 : 5.30pm Saturday 29 June, Cool Caravans & Cocktails.
SESSION 3 : 9.00am Sunday 30 June, Interior House Tours 1890-2010 (Self Drive Tour).
